Website Terms

Last updated 14 October 2026

1. Operator and agreement

The website at quidex.app (the Website) is operated by Ontiqo Pty Ltd (ACN 701 340 418) of Daylesford, Victoria, Australia (Ontiqo, we, us). By using the Website you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the Website. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

2. Purpose of the Website

The Website describes the Quidex application, formerly named Ontiqo File Organiser (the Program). Once the Program is released, the Website is where it may be downloaded and, if a licence is required, bought. The Website is provided for those purposes and for reading. You may link to any page of the Website.

3. The Program and its licence

Downloading, installing or using the Program is governed by the End User Licence Agreement (the EULA), which is presented in the Program, must be accepted before use, and is published at quidex.app/eula. The EULA, not these terms, sets out what you may do with the Program, the Program’s privacy commitments, its warranty disclaimer and the limits of our liability for it. If anything in these terms appears to conflict with the EULA in relation to the Program, the EULA governs.

The Program is described on the Website as accurately as we can. Speeds, durations and system requirements are guidance, not guarantees; the Program reports its own progress once it is running.

Official sources only. The Program is distributed solely by Ontiqo, through the Website and the release channels it links to. No one else is authorised to host, mirror, bundle, resell or otherwise distribute the Program or its installer, and the EULA prohibits doing so. A copy obtained from any other source is unauthorised: it may have been altered, it is not covered by these terms or by our support, and we cannot vouch for what it contains. Download only from quidex.app or a release page the Website links to, and check the size and checksum shown beside the download.

4. Purchases

Nothing is on sale. The Program has not been released and no licence can currently be bought. Pricing will be announced before release. If a licence is sold, it will be sold through a merchant of record, a payment company that is legally the seller and which takes payment, issues receipts and invoices, handles applicable taxes and holds payment details. That provider will be named on this page before the first sale, and a purchase will also be subject to its terms. The price shown at checkout is the price payable.

Refunds. Refund terms will be published before anything goes on sale. Statutory guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law apply and are not affected by anything in these terms.

5. Support

Support is provided through the form at ontiqo.com/support and by email, on a reasonable-efforts basis. We do not promise a response time or that a particular problem will be fixed. Do not send us the contents of your files.

6. Acceptable use

You must not use the Website to do anything unlawful; attempt to gain unauthorised access to it, its hosting or its related services; interfere with its operation, for example by overloading it or probing it for vulnerabilities without our permission; use automated means to collect its content beyond ordinary search-engine and AI-assistant indexing, which we permit; misrepresent your identity or affiliation in a support request; or use the support form to send spam, abuse or unlawful material.

7. Intellectual property

The Website’s text, design, graphics, logos and code, and the Quidex and Ontiqo names and marks, are owned by Ontiqo or used under licence, and are protected by copyright and trade mark law. You may view, download and print pages for your own personal or internal reference. You may not otherwise copy, republish, adapt or commercially exploit the Website’s content, or use the Quidex or Ontiqo names or marks, without our written permission. Third-party names on the Website belong to their owners.

The Program is licensed, not sold, and remains the property of Ontiqo. Downloading it from the Website gives you the rights set out in the EULA and no others; in particular it does not permit you to redistribute it (section 3).

8. Third-party services and links

The Website is delivered through Cloudflare, any purchase will be handled by the merchant of record described in section 4, and pages may link to other websites. We do not control those services or websites and are not responsible for their content or practices. Their own terms and privacy policies apply to your use of them.

9. No warranty for the Website

The Website is provided as is and as available. To the extent permitted by law, we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of harmful components, or that its content is complete or current. Nothing on the Website is professional advice.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ontiqo is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or any loss of data, profit or goodwill, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Website. Where liability cannot be excluded but can be limited, it is limited, at our option, to supplying the relevant service again or paying the cost of doing so. Liability in relation to the Program is dealt with in the EULA. Nothing in this section limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

11. Privacy

How we handle personal information on the Website and in the Program is set out in the privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.

12. Changes

We may change these terms by publishing a new version on this page with a new date. Changes apply from publication. Continued use of the Website after a change is acceptance of it. A purchase is governed by the terms in force when it was made.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Each party submits to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria and the courts entitled to hear appeals from them. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in force.
